Home dashboard

What this feature is for

The Home dashboard is the landing screen for the active restaurant. It gathers a set of favourite module cards so you can see what matters most and jump straight into the work you do most often, without first opening each module by hand.

Who can use it

Everyone with access to the restaurant can open the Home dashboard: Owners, Admins, Staff, and Viewers. What each card shows depends on your role and the modules the restaurant has.

Availability and required module/permission

The Home dashboard is part of the core platform and needs no purchasable module. Its cards are not automatically shown, though: each card declares its own module entitlement and role gate, so a booking card appears only with the Booking Engine, a POS card only with POS, and so on.

Prerequisites

None. The dashboard is available as soon as your account has a restaurant. Cards for a module you have not subscribed to simply do not appear.

Common tasks

  • Open a module quickly: use a card to jump straight to its screen.
  • Read your key figures: glance at the cards to see the current state of the restaurant.
  • Switch restaurant: change the active restaurant from the top bar and the cards refresh.

Screen and field reference

The dashboard shows a grid of favourite cards. Each card belongs to a module and is only rendered when that module is active and your role allows it, so two users of the same restaurant may see different cards.

Warnings and important constraints

A missing card usually means the matching module is not active for the restaurant, or your role does not grant it. It is not an error. Card contents follow the same permission rules as the module they open.

Troubleshooting guidance

If an expected card is missing, confirm the restaurant has the matching module and that your role has access to it. If figures look out of date, reload the page to refresh the cards.
